Did you know that the ACA Daily Reader has some hidden features? Strengthening My Recovery is organized in ways you might never expect: The promise of the month is always the topic for the 15th of that month (January 15 for Promise One, February 15 for Promise Two, etc). The step of the month is always on the 3rd of the month (Step One on January 3, Step Two on February 3, etc). The tradition of the month is trickier: it's always the next-to-last reading of the month. That means it's on the 30th for 31-day months like January, on the 29th for 30-day months like April, and on the 28th in February! So the tradition is on a different day depending on the length of the month, but always the next-to-last reading of the month. Next time you're looking for a reading on a particular step, tradition, or promise, you'll have a fast way to find it. Hat tip to the editors for being organized. : )
Such an important acronym! Right now, I'm working on my Loss Inventory, drescribed in the Loving Parent Workbook. It's a very difficult inventory process, but seems to be crucial to naming and claiming all my losses to be sure I'm working through them all. This taks may take the rest of my life. But each day I get past my Losses, is a day I get to experience being more fully human, more fully alive, and more fully in conscious contact with my HP and fellow man!
